Mahayahay Beach

Liki Spring
The Liki Cold Spring is located in Barangay Taloot of the town. It is one of the old springs you can find in the Southern Cebu. The spring is also a source of water for the locals. The word like is a Cebuano for crack. The water in the spring comes from a crack in the rock.

Coal Mountain Resort
This is a relatively new nature site in Argao.The resort is owned by the Municipality’s Mayor, Dr. Stanley Caminero. One of the interesting activities in the resort is a walk on the hanging bridge built on the forest canopy.
Taloot Mangrove Forest
Taloot Mangrove Forest has centuries old mangrove trees, one of the most preserved mangrove areas in southern Cebu...more than 200 hectares, with the most concentration of mangrove species in one area..more than 20 species already documented.
Sumbria River Cruise
At Sombria River, there are 20 species of birds like punay (yellow-breasted fruit dove), alimokon (local pigeon), tamsi (olive-backed sunbird), kingfisher, and night heron. There are also seven kinds of bats, some of which migrate from Bohol, including kabog, a kind of fruit-eating bat. Exotic animals like wild pythons and monitor lizards likewise roam in the area.

Cabecera De Argao
Cabecera de Argao, the fortified town center and seat of the Argao municipal government. It was once a fortified Spanish pueblo or town designed according to the Spanish Crown’s blueprint for its settlements in the colonies.
The cabecera or town center, once enclosed in a high rectangular wall of cut coral stones, had four massive gates located on each side of the perimeter. Today, only two entryways still exist.
